I've been following this case for a while now, and I am so happy that the WM3 were released.
Of course, the fact that they were not granted an actual retrial, which would likely have found them not guilty and therefore have them be properly acquitted, kind of sours the moment. Looks like people still want to cover their asses, and heaven forbid if this were to become a landmark case against the death penalty.
But I am still thrilled for them. This case really shook my confidence in the integrity and competence of the police and justice system, and I have become muuuch more cynical about these things since reading up on the case. It's one of
